In serious need of an update.

Firstly, HAPPY NEW YEAR, Y'ALL.

This is the second time I am typing out a journal entry for dA- the first one got eaten by Firefox. >_>

So, I'm gonna put everything in a nutshell:

I'm out of junior college, going to enter Lasalle SIA College of the Arts in their Graphic Design course- and I'm really excited about it. Now I'm doing a bit of travelling; Went back to Yokohama, Japan, in January to visit my family, and in a few days, will be flying to Perth, Australia, to visit my Aunt. I'm hoping to visit America as well, but the chances of that trip happening would be quite low.

I've gotten 11 COPIC sketch markers and 2 liners in Japan, and saved myself about S$9-10 by doing so. Man, I am so going to wait for my next trip to Japan to buy more markers (unless I really need them and my friends don't happen to have a colour I could borrow).

Art wise, I am still drawing- much more than I was last year, thankfully. I've been working on the 'P is for' Project story with ~daydreamerMabel as a collaboration. While we both handle equal bits of the story (leaning slightly on my side, since I am the creator), I handle the slightly questionable bits. Not saying any more, not only because I am lazy but 'cos I don't wanna give any spoilers just yet.

I am now working on my most important project, which is PantyCat and Friends, as well as other related craftwork. PantyCat will be making his official debut at MAAD, the first weekend of April! MAAD is held at Red Dot Museum near Tanjong Pagar MRT Station. For more info, please visit -> [link]

In my last journal, I said I wanted to embark on the 100 Drawings Challenge. I've decided to drop it because I didn't like the restriction- and make one of my own!

The 100 Inspired Deviations Challenge

The purpose of this challenge is to follow your own themes- which is something inspirational, whether it be a song, a person, a place, or even a taste. But of course like any challenge, there's gotta be some rules.

RULES

1) 100 deviations is the set number, though you can set more or less for yourself. Just make sure you don't change the number once you set it.

2) The deviations can be anything- from digital paintings to pixel sprites. As long as it is an original piece of work done by you and was inspired by something, or inspiring to you. Be sure to state what was it that inspired you, and put it in the list of deviations as you go along- and of course, please follow the rules and regulations of deviantART.

4) There is no time limit, so go at your own pace.

5) Do state in your journal that you are in the challenge, and if you like, set aside one journal entry specially for updating the list.
